cool?

today we looked at a man named Brian Eno.

after having a look myself at his achievements throughout his career, it's clear to say he's been an influential man on a lot of us, without us even knowing it.

he stated in an interview 'people become increasingly comfortable with drawing their culture from a rich range of sources - cherry picking whatever makes sense to them.' This is basically saying that people are becoming more and more accustomed to just liking what they want, whether it be deemed 'cool' or not and picking what they like from a huge range of sources.

here's the first 20 tracks that appeared on my phone when i pressed shuffle

  1. Wiz Khalifa - On My Level
  2. Twin Atlantic - Caribbean War Syndrome
  3. Klaxons - Marble Fields
  4. The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die
  5. Oasis - Ain't Got Nothin'
  6. Paloma Faith - Smoke & Mirrors
  7. Jay - Z - Already Home
  8. The Flaming Lips - Ego Tripping At The Gates Of Hell
  9. The Killers - Leave The Bourbon On The Shelf
  10. Klaxons - Atlantis To Interzone
  11. Frankie & The Heartstrings - Don't Look Surprised
  12. Milburn - The Genius Of The Tramp
  13. Mr Hudson & The Library - Too Late, Too Late
  14. Frank Turner - Live Fast Die Old
  15. Athlete - I Love
  16. Biffy Clyro - Semi Mental/Four Fifteenths
  17. SBTRKT - Sanctuary
  18. British Sea Power - Atom
  19. Muse - Prague
  20. OFWGKTA - Fin
as you can see, the range of my library is huge, just from these 20 random songs. We go from OFWGKTA all the way to Paloma Faith.
